We can't have teams without coaches.

Not sure what it takes to coach, here's the information:

Coaches requirements for coaching.  Please direct them to the WOBA website and the tab labeled “Development”.  Listed here are the specifics for WOBA league, OBA rep and Select coaching requirements.  An NCCP link is located here as well for new and returning coaches.  Also remind coaches that they must register for clinics via their baseball NCCP profiles and will have the ability to print off receipts after payment is made.

Feedback from facilitators and administrators is that local coaches are not made aware, by their associations, as to where to obtain coaching information or the process to becoming a coach or registering for clinics.  We never hesitate to answer their concerns, however local associations are urged to direct coaches to the WOBA website information as an aide in providing direction to their coach registration questions.

WOBA has a full slate of clinics beginning end of March straight through to the beginning of June.   Encourage your coaches to register early to avoid disappointment and not being admitted to them as space is limited.  They may attend clinics elsewhere in the province to suit their work schedules.  WOBA website has posted list of our communities hosting clinics under the News section.  Full list of province-wide clinics posted at Baseball NCCP website-log in under coach profile to register.
