Coaches, managers, volunteers, umpires .....

The 2016 Baseball season provided many challenges with the influx of new players.

We were short of equipment, uniforms, umpires, volunteers and coaches.

A sincere thank-you to all of you who said; I will help, I will try, I will see what I can do.    You all did a great job, and helped create self-esteem, respect, confidence, skill and joy for all the kids who you coached or supported or officiated this season.

We often say volunteering is a thankless job,  however someday in the future when one of those kids smiles and says “hey” how are doing; you will know you did the right thing and you helped build both a person and a community.   Well done to all our coaches, managers’, volunteers and umpires. Rest up if you can over the winter and then please come back for more fun next season.

Peter Kritz, Rep Convenor, Hanover Minor Ball
